3. Painting in Bad Weather
For exterior projects, weather is a big deal. Painting on a hot, humid, rainy, or freezing day can lead to big problems. Paint may dry too quickly, preventing proper leveling and adhesion, or too slowly, risking drips, bubbles, or mildew growth.
Before starting, always check the weather forecast. Aim for mild, dry days with temperatures in the recommended range (usually between 50°F and 85°F, but always read your product label for specifics).
